Thank you for considering AABC!
Our process is designed to ensure we are the right learning environment to meet your family’s needs.
Step 1: Learning
If you’re considering whether or not AABC might be the right fit for your family, we encourage you to do the following:
First, explore our website in depth. There is a lot of resources and answers here to get you started and make sure you have a basic understanding of what AABC is all about.
Lastly, head back to the "resources” page. Consider reading “Courage to Grow”. It is the foundation for Acton methodology.
Step 2: Visit us
Come to one of our Open houses to learn more about our unique program.
Step 3: Preliminary discussion
Whenever you’re ready, contact us to begin the discussion. We can start off by answering any of your questions, and then, if appropriate, set aside time for a more in-depth discussion regarding your learner(s) and his/her/their needs and whether or not they might be the right fit for AABC.
Step 4: Submit your application
Fill out the application form we will send you and provide two teachers or coaches to fill out a profile survey for your child.
Step 5: Final interview
After we receive your application, we will schedule time with the prospective learner and his/her parent(s)/guardian(s) to address any final questions.
Step 6: In-studio try-outs
If it is mutually agreed that AABC appears to be a highly promising fit and everything is aligned, the prospective learner will be invited to spend 2-5 full days in the AABC studio. This pre-admissions “try-out” experience is designed to ensure that AABC provides the right learning environment to meet your family’s needs, and vice versa.
Step 7: Admissions Decision
The final step is receiving an invitation to join the AABC learner community. Upon completion of all the steps, AABC will convey our decision within one to two weeks.
Tuition & Financial Aid
Annual tuition: $9500. A non-refundable registration deposit of $400 to confirm enrollment.
Limited need-based financial aid is available for qualifying families.
Due to our size limitations, we cannot “hold” a learner’s spot in the studio (even if he/she has made it through steps one through six) without an admission deposit. The Learner’s admission/placement within the studio will be confirmed upon receipt of the learner’s admissions deposit.
