AABC's Founding
In August 2019, Acton Academy of Bergen County ("AABC") was founded by Michal Lesham and Shira Cohen. Before launching AABC, Michal worked as a Guide at Acton Verona in Oneida County, NJ. Michal was driven to open an Acton Academy out of a passion to provide (for her four boys and other young learners) a forward-thinking educational option in Bergen County, NJ.
THE JOURNEY SO FAR...
2019: AABC launches with 13 Learners in one Discovery Studio.
2023: AABC is now the home for 67 Learners in 3 Studios, Sparks, Discovery, and Journey.
