Team Building, Heroes & Studio Fun (Session 1, Week 1)
Dear Sparks Families,
Welcome back! The Sparks had a wonderful first week back at school with their Tribe, filled with excitement, energy, teamwork, and plenty of fun.
Wednesday
The Sparks began their week by:
Discussing what it means to be a hero
Participating in team-building games like “Find Josh” and “Get on the Boat”
Brainstorming ideas for the upcoming Lip Dub Competition
Enjoying outdoor free time in the woods and on the playground
Thursday
On Thursday, the Sparks:
Discussed what it means to uphold their studio and contract promises
Enjoyed a read-aloud of The School with No Rules by Dr. Poppy Moon
Continued building teamwork through games like “Telephone,” “Giant Uno,” and “Draw Yourself”
Had time for studio activities and outdoor play
Friday
To wrap up the week, the Sparks:
Started the day with a read-aloud of Miss Nelson is Missing by Harry Allard
Participated in more team-building activities
Enjoyed outdoor free time in the woods and on the playground
It was a great first week back, and we’re looking forward to all the adventures and learning ahead!
