he final week of session 5 is over, and lots of crazy things have happened! From compiling their badges to two food markets, to the Children’s Business Fair? Here’s the details:

#1 -  Badge compiling! The final boss of the session! As everybody knows, the last week of the Journey session brings badge compiling with it. Journey learners have to compile their genre, quest, civ, and other badges by the end of the week. This session’s compiling follows the same format as all the others, but still brings stress and final completion!

#2 - Pancakes to Paella? Journey and Launchpad’s final quest display! To finish off the Chemistry and Cooking and Spanish Quest’s, Journey and Launchpad have prepared and executed food markets! On Tuesday, Journey hosted theirs, and everybody had to prepare a day before to make their dish. As the day came, they created their stands and sold their food products for money. Some dishes included crepes, pancakes, jam, and even cannoli’s! Truly an experience!

#3 - The Children’s Business Fair! A display of the growth that Acton can create! As everybody here most probably knows, but for those who don’t, every year on session 5, AABC holds the Children’s Business Fair, a display of growth and leadership through Acton, with each learner creating their own business, getting their own table in the fair, and selling their product or service to customers. Fun fact; Jeff Sandefer went to the Acton School of Business, and his idea of the Children’s Business Fair was the first step to Acton Academy being created! This year will for sure be better than the last and we wish everybody the best of luck!

Next week will bring a new session full of surprises and graduations! We can’t wait to tell you all about it!
