Dear Sparks Tribe Families,
We hope this newsletter finds you well as we enter the final stretch of our school year together. The second to last week of school was filled with memorable experiences and learning opportunities for our Sparks!
Memory Monday was a reflective day for our Sparks as they discussed the types of memories they cherish and want to remember forever. They shared their happiest memories with each other, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere.
Tinkering Tuesday was both inspiring and creative! The Sparks watched a remarkable performance by a 7-year-old professional violinist and engaged in a thoughtful discussion about passion, hobbies, and striving for excellence. During project time, they crafted their own nature books with pockets, ensuring they have a place to document their outdoor adventures and keep treasured pieces of nature close at hand.
Wednesday's Morning Circle focused on storytelling. After watching a video on story creation, Sparks formed groups to craft imaginative tales that included essential elements like setting, plot, and characters. The storytelling session was a hit, with Sparks enthusiastically sharing their stories and voting for their favorite.
Thunderous Thursday brought a hands-on lesson in meteorology as Sparks learned about hurricanes and the conditions needed for their formation. They conducted experiments creating mini-storms and tsunamis using landscape molds and water, exploring the fascinating dynamics of weather and physics.
Forest Friday was full of laughter and creativity as Sparks ventured into the forest to craft the funniest stories within the tribe. Their storytelling skills were on full display as they shared and voted on the funniest tale of the day.
As we approach the end of the school year, we are reminded of the incredible growth and joy our Sparks have experienced together. Each day is a testament to their curiosity, creativity, and camaraderie. Let's cherish these final moments and celebrate the journey we've shared.
