Dear Sparks Families,
We’re wrapping up another exciting and meaningful week with the Sparks Tribe! Week six was full of hands-on exploration, teamwork, and thought-provoking discussions that brought the community closer together and sparked lots of curiosity.
Team-Building Tuesday
The week kicked off with an engaging launch focused on conflict resolution. The Sparks Tribe explored different approaches to handling conflict, shared personal insights, and brainstormed together on how to solve disagreements in positive ways. In the afternoon, learners channeled that collaboration into a strong core time, staying focused and motivated.
Worldwide Wednesday
This Wednesday took the Sparks beyond the classroom walls with a field trip to LG Labs! The tour and interactive games sparked so much excitement and conversation—especially during the bus ride back. Once back on campus, learners dove into a launch about Tibet, learning about the cultural significance of prayer flags. The Sparks Tribe then created their own "wish flags," using their creativity and empathy to connect with global traditions.
Conundrum Thursday
This day brought a big question to the table: What would you do if you could control the weather? The Sparks Tribe tackled the topic of artificial weather manipulation, imagining what they might do if they ran a company with the power to change weather patterns. Thoughtful ideas, lively debates, and a lot of critical thinking filled the air!
Alpine Friday The week ended on a high note with House Cup and morning games that built
camaraderie and fun. Later, a launch about the Lenape Tribe introduced the Sparks Tribe to traditional Lenape dwellings called wigwams. Learners then took on the challenge of constructing their own nature-based wigwams—a fantastic way to blend history, creativity, and outdoor play. To close out the day, the Sparks Tribe joined Discovery for a friendly game of tail-tag, celebrating a week well-spent.
Thank you for continuing to support the journey of the Sparks Tribe! Have a restful weekend—we look forward to seeing you all next week!
