Core Learning, Creativity & Outdoor Adventures (Session 5, Week 5)

Dear Parents, 

Happy Friday! Here’s a quick recap of this week in Sparks Kingdom.

On Monday they: 

• Began with a read aloud for Launch. 

• Worked through Core

• Worked on their product design, products and prices for CBF during Quest

• Enjoyed outdoor free time in the woods

Tuesday was met with: 

• A launch on the power of free hugs :) 

• More diligent Core work!

• Writers Workshop where they continued working on their products, prices, posters and flyers for CBF

• Played in the woods and on the playground

Wednesday was another full day for the Sparks Tribe. They: 

• Voted on what kind of party they would like to have to end the session. The decision was made to have a breakfast party and make some pancakes, waffles and muffins together. :) 

• Jumped into their Core Work 

• Participated in House Cup, alongside the rest of the school. 

• Enjoyed a warm day outdoors

• Had fun with their interim guide, Zohar!

On Thursday the Sparks: 

• Discussed a launch on what it means to be truly kind

• Participated in Core 

• Used Writers Workshop to finish working on CBF materials

• Enjoyed the outdoors

To end the week, the Sparks: 

• Launched their day with a discussion in Discovery about what clubs they would like to see more of next session

• Jumped right into their Core Work

• Planted wildflowers and lettuce seeds

• Played on the basketball court and on the playground
