Hello parents, this is what we did during week 7.

Monday:

We held our first Exhibition Sharing and Feedback session. Exhibition hosts presented their plans and progress so far, and their peers offered thoughtful feedback to help make our upcoming exhibition even stronger. It was a great opportunity to practice presenting, listening, and refining ideas.

Tuesday:

We welcomed a Hero’s Visit! Ella D’s parents joined us to share how they combined their love of dance with their careers. We learned salsa, merengue, and bachata as part of our Culture Quest—and it was so much fun!

Wednesday:

We had a House Cup Core Skills day, where Sparks joined students from Journey, Discovery, and Launchpad in their House rooms to work and help each other on core skills. After that, we headed to Mollicone Park for PE. In the afternoon, we continued working on Quest and Writer’s Workshop projects in preparation for Exhibition.

Thursday:

Exhibition Day! Our Cultural Festival came to life with students sharing artifacts, music, dance, and cultural traditions. It was amazing to see families, grandparents, and guardians experience and learn from our Sparks’ hard work. And of course—we were thrilled to share our winning Lip Dub!

Friday:

To celebrate our teamwork and progress, we enjoyed a movie reward for completing our Team-Building Bingo. Then, we played House Games (my house played Steal the Bacon!). We wrapped up the week with Extreme Studio Maintenance, resetting all spaces to look just like they did at the start of the year—fresh and ready for Session 2.

Have a wonderful break! We look forward to seeing everyone soon.
