Hello families and friends.
This week was our first week of Session 6.
It was very exciting. This time we’re going to start with WW
For WW this session is writing letters for ourselves and others WW. Every week, we have to reflect on a part of our journey and write a different kind of letter, and sometimes it's for ourselves and sometimes for others. This week we had to write a letter about the business fair for ourselves, and then next year at the start of session 5, Marie will give us the letter, and it will help us have a good business for the business fair! Also, when you're done, you have the option to play Night Zookeeper. Night Zookeeper is something we usually do for the session 6 Writers Workshop, but this time the Writers Workshop is different, so if you finish the letter, then you could do Night Zookeeper. You have a week to finish each letter.
I love WW. Now let's jump into Quest.
In Quest, this session is Growing Curiosity. Growing Curiosity is a quest where learners who are moving to Journey make a quest for the other learners. Each week, there are different learners who do a quest, but in the first week, the guides do Team challenges for us. This week was the first week, and we went in a human hamster wheel. So cool. We will have another team challenge today! Now let’s move on to Special (There are two specials, just letting you know).
For special, we have made a Memory Book and an Entomology Special. Making a memory book is when you think about different parts of the year and your favorite things to do, and create pages about things you want to remember from the year. So, well, yeah, you just need to make a memory book. Most of the learners like a memory book. Entomology special is when we will explore new bugs and grow them in the studio. It's loads of fun here in school, but now it's time to say goodbye! See you next week, have a good weekend.
