Reflect & Write Letters, Marketing Quest, and Butterfly Release (Session 6, Week 4)

Hello families and friends,

This week was full of creativity, reflection, and even a little nature magic!

Writer’s Workshop (WW – Reflect & Write)

For WW, learners wrote letters to themselves, reflecting on the past year—what went well, what was challenging, and what they learned. At the start of next year, these letters will be returned to them, serving as a meaningful reminder and motivator for what lies ahead.

Quest – Marketing

This week’s Quest was led by Niko M and Alon, and the focus was marketing! First, learners invented their own products. Then, they began creating flyers to promote them. Some even went further, designing and filming ads. On Friday, groups who hadn’t presented yet shared their ads, and the whole studio voted for their favorites.

Specials

The most exciting moment of the week—our butterflies emerged from their cocoons! Although a few were a little fragile, they were beautiful to watch, and Marie made sure they were cared for. The big green ones are still in their cocoons, so we’re looking forward to seeing them transform too. On Friday, we released the painted lady moths during free time, which was a magical experience. In “Make a Memory Book,” learners continued working on their pages, and some began printing pictures to add.
