Discovery: Session 6, Week 2

Hello families and friends.  

This time, we’re going to start with WW

For WW we did well WW like we always do, which this session is write a letter. This week we had to look over the parents' agreement and write a letter to our parents and give them warm and cool feedback about how they followed the promises in the contract, and what they could do to help us most next year. Your parents probably know that because on parents' night you're going to get the letters. If you do not know that, well, then you are. Now let's move on to Quest. 

In Quest, Paloma and Kalina did a cooking quest for their turn with Growing Curiosity. On Monday, we made ice pops by blending fruit, lemonade, and honey. It was so yummy! Also, everyone had teams, and each team had to choose a flavor. Then on Wednesday, we made French fries. We also had groups in this one, and each group had a job. We peeled the potatoes and cut them, and seasoned.  Anyway, it was very fun. And then on Friday, we will make s'mores balls. It will be soooooo yummy and awesome. That is pretty much it for Quest now, let’s move onto special. 

For special this session, as you know, we have Entomology Special and Make Memory Book special. For Make a memory book, Learners were creating pages and reflecting on the year to build their memory book. I absolutely love Make a Memory Book special! Also for Entomology special this week we had a choice - we could go and look for bugs and insects in nature or we could do research and make a board about painted lady butterflies. Most people went outside, but some people stayed inside. It was very interesting this week.

On Friday, we are going to Alpine!
