Discovery: Session 6, Week 3

Hello families and friends.  

This time we’re going to start with WW

In WW we had to write a letter. This week we had to write letters of support. We started our letters “To Someone Who,” and after that, wrote something that we personally struggled with. Some people wrote about getting stuck in Lexia, or Khan, or having trouble with friends. Some learners even shared about getting strikes. After we wrote about our challenge then we wrote a lesson we learned and how we got better from it. We had to tell our story, and we will print the letters and learners next year will be able to read them when they face a challenge. Now let’s jump into quest.

In quest, we had growing curiosity. This week was Avigail, Ella G, and Cora. They did an acting quest. On the first day, we had to write a script.  The second day, we had to record. And on the last day, we had to edit, and we had a contest for who made the best movie.  It was very fun and we even had groups. Anyways, let’s move on to Special.

In specials, like always, we had entomology special and made a memory book special. You won't believe it! In the entomology quest, we got painted lady caterpillars and hornworm moths. They are soooooo cool and some of the painted lady are in the cocoon already. It's so cool and also in the entomology special we got to draw them and since you know we couldn't get the bugs from the other company, we got to write a letter to them. And in the memory book special, we got again do the papers about memories from this year. Soon we will be able to print pictures! That’s it, have a nice day,, see you next week.
