Welcome Back!
Week 4 of this session brought major progress in our Decision Making Quest, exciting developments in our NGA speeches, and plenty of snowy outdoor fun!
Game Design Complete – Playtesting Begins!
Our research- and reflection-heavy Decision Making Quest is truly coming together. This week, students finalized their game designs and moved into one of the most exciting stages of the process: playtesting with fellow studiomates.
After sharing our games, we gathered meaningful peer feedback and immediately began revising and improving our designs. Watching ideas evolve through collaboration has been inspiring!
Visual Aids, Recordings & Revisions – NGA Speeches Peak
With guests invited, drafts completed, and research grounded in world-class models, our NGA speeches are shaping up to be outstanding.
This week, students:
Created simple slide decks to serve as visual aids
Recorded themselves reading their speeches aloud
Revised based on detailed peer and self-feedback
The result? Speeches that are polished, confident, and nearly presentation-ready.
Snow, Sleds & Slides – Winter Fun at Acton
After last Sunday’s massive snowstorm, our campus transformed into a winter playground. Snow from around campus was piled into a giant mountain in the parking lot, creating the perfect setting for sledding, building igloos, and carving snow slides.
While snowy days are a yearly tradition, this may have been the biggest snow mountain in Acton history!
