For the 1st time ever in AABC, we have a Launch Pad studio!!!!

On Tuesday night, we invited the LP Falcons for a special opening night. They cooked themselves a Mexican dinner, discussed the rules of the House Cup, and started to build their special bond.

On Thursday, the LP Falcons opened the day by cooking breakfast and having a fascinating morning launch discussion about the following question: What does it mean to live a successful life? They then started working on the first genre challenge: writing their hero’s essay and their first quest challenge, the traditional Lip dub. On Friday morning, the Falcons had an exciting treasure hunt around Closter. They solved riddles, found clues, and got hot drinks at the local coffee place.

On Friday, the LP Falcons led their first house-cup time as captains! They chose to focus on two team-building games so their house Falcons would know each other’s names. We had a reflection circle to discuss what worked better and what did not so they could improve their plans for next time.

I want to thank all of you again for accepting the call to adventure and agreeing to go into the unknown with us. I have no doubt that this will be an unforgettable year.

Located in Closter, NJ, Acton Academy Bergen County offers an immersive, studio-based learning experience.
