Dear Families of the Sparks Tribe,
As the first session draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey our Sparks have undertaken. This final week has been a testament to the strong bonds and remarkable growth we've witnessed since the beginning of the year.
Mindset Monday focused on leadership. The Sparks watched a video exploring the qualities of a leader and then discussed how they would want to be led in various scenarios. It was inspiring to see them considering different perspectives and understanding the importance of effective leadership.
Team Building Tuesday brought out their creativity with the "balloon pass" game. They devised innovative ways to pass the balloon without using their hands, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Worldwide Wednesday took us on a virtual trip to the Arctic, where we learned about the Inuit people and their unique tradition of throat singing. The Sparks explored various cultural elements, from music and dance to clothing and language. In the afternoon, they channeled their creativity by attempting to create snow goggles, mimicking the Inuit's methods to combat snow blindness.
Conundrum Thursday added a touch of Halloween fun! After morning launch, the Sparks voted on the food for their well-deserved Lip Dub party, choosing a pizza party to celebrate their victory!
Feedback Friday was a powerful conclusion to the session. The Sparks reflected on their biggest challenges, accomplishments, and lessons learned. They shared character callouts, acknowledging each other's growth and the adversities they've overcome.
We are so proud of the Sparks and the incredible community they have built. We've seen them grow in confidence, resilience, and compassion. Their ability to support each other and embrace new challenges has been truly inspiring.
We look forward to the start of Session 2 and the continued growth of our Sparks Tribe!
