Our second week at The Sparks' Tribe was an absolute whirlwind of motivation, collaboration, and discovery!

Motivation Monday kicked off with a bang! We launched into a discussion about what truly motivates us, exploring the sparks that ignite our passion. A key conversation revolved around focus during Core time: prioritizing individual work for advancement versus engaging with friends. It’s fantastic to see our Sparks grappling with these important choices! In the afternoon, the creative energy flowed as our Sparks began crafting their entry for the Acton Lip Dub competition. Get ready for some impressive moves!

Team-Building Tuesday was all about the essence of our "tribe." We had a deep and insightful discussion about what it means to be part of a tribe and the unique bonds we share. Following this meaningful talk, the Sparks engaged in a lively game of "Sharks and Minnows," a perfect way to reinforce our team spirit. The afternoon saw them refining their lip dub routines, ensuring every dance move was just right.

Worldwide Wednesday transported us to the incredible Incan Civilization. Exploring their history sparked a fantastic conversation about the qualities of great leadership. Inspired by the Incas, our Sparks shared their thoughts on what makes a strong leader. In the afternoon, we captured the final version of our lip dub video – fingers crossed we can bring home the trophy for the third year running!

Conundrum Thursday challenged our Sparks to think critically about how they would individually navigate and resolve difficult situations within the tribe, fostering empathy and problem-solving skills.

Feedback Friday brought us a dose of educational fun with School House Rock, specifically "How A Bill Becomes A Law." This led into an engaging discussion about the rules and principles we want to establish for our studio contract, empowering our Sparks to shape their learning environment.

As the week draws to a close, we hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved rest. We can’t wait to see all your bright faces again on Monday!
