Dear Sparks Families,
What an energizing and joy-filled second week of Session Two! The Sparks continued to grow in confidence, collaboration, and self-awareness as they explored our weekly themes. Here’s a look back at all the learning and laughter from the studio:
✨ Movement Monday
We kicked off the week with a launch focused on movement as a form of self-expression. Nearly every Spark shared the unique ways they enjoy moving their bodies—some through song, others through playful motion or imaginative gestures. It was a delightful opportunity for the Sparks to learn more about one another and celebrate the many ways we all express ourselves.
In the afternoon, Sparks shifted their creativity toward planning for the end-of-session Talent Show. They began brainstorming what they might want to perform and started considering who they might team up with. The excitement is already building!
🎤 Talent Tuesday
Tuesday’s launch explored presentation—the different ways we can share ideas depending on our intention. Sparks discussed tone, style, audience, and how message shapes method.
In the afternoon, they continued working on their personal Hero’s Boards. These individual posters invite each Spark to reflect on who they are, what they’ve achieved, and what challenges they are working to overcome. This is always such a meaningful exercise in self-discovery and confidence building.
🐾 Wildlife Wednesday
Midweek brought a sense of adventure as Sparks watched a short video highlighting some of the most iconic wildlife across our continent. This sparked conversations about habitats, adaptations, and the beauty of the natural world.
🛠 Hero’s Journey Thursday
For Thursday’s launch, Sparks discussed the current state of the studio and thoughtfully identified areas needing improvement. They brainstormed solutions and worked together to imagine ways they can contribute to a cleaner, more functional, and more joyful learning environment. Their ideas were insightful and showed just how capable they are of taking ownership of their space.
💛 Friendship Friday
We wrapped up the week with a launch on the power of giving. Sparks reflected on the unique gifts they offer to others—kindness, creativity, humor, helpfulness, and more. Many Sparks even discovered talents or qualities they hadn’t noticed in themselves before. It was a wonderful way to close a week centered on awareness, connection, and growth.
