All About Me Mondays: Monday was all about self-expression as our Sparks Tribe kicked off the week with "All About Me Mondays." And it was completely learner-led! Our young hosts dedicated themselves tirelessly to preparing captivating speeches and put on an impeccable show. Each presentation was a glimpse into the unique interests of our Sparks. It was a day of self-discovery, inspiration, and celebration. You can witness the amazing launch here!
Around The World Tuesday: On Tuesday, our Sparks embarked on a virtual journey to India. They got a firsthand view of the bustling streets of an Indian market, filled with vibrant colors, exotic scents, and life in full swing. This immersive experience allowed our Sparks to broaden their horizons and gain a deeper appreciation for the diverse cultures of the world.
Lip Dub Wednesday: Wednesday, our tribe came together to watch and vote on Lip Dub videos from other Spark Studios across various Acton Academies. The creativity, talent, and teamwork displayed in these videos were truly inspiring. It was a reminder that we are part of a global community of learners, sharing our experiences and learning from one another.
Warm-heart Thursdays: Our commitment to nurturing emotional intelligence continued on Thursday with "Warm-heart Thursdays." Our Sparks took the initiative to create their own "sad" feelings cards. This exercise not only encouraged them to identify and express their emotions but also gave them a tool to communicate how they're feeling in any situation. We will continue Warm-heart Thursdays throughout the session, building a valuable collection of "feelings cards" to support our Sparks in their emotional journey.
Fun-filled Friday in Nature On Friday, our tribe once again embraced the great outdoors with a day spent in Nature. Our Sparks connected with nature and enjoyed a day of exploration, creativity, and play. As part of their outdoor launch, they crafted Nature Bracelets, a tangible reminder of their day in the wilderness.
As we reflect on this week's adventures, we are reminded of the incredible growth and leadership demonstrated by our Sparks. They are not only discovering themselves but also the world around them. We are excited about the weeks to come and the opportunities for learning, discovery, and growth that lie ahead.
