Believe it or not, we are past the halfway point for this session. Falcons are learning a lot when it comes to cartography. Not only do many of the learners now know where most of the states are in the country, but they are learning where unique, different parts of the world are. The learners have discovered various kinds of food, culture, and languages expressed worldwide and how exciting it is to be an adventurer.
Luckily, the learners were able to win an ice cream party this week! With even more luck, Thursday had perfect weather to go into town and get some local ice cream. Learners loved getting a scoop of their favorite ice cream and having fun with all the beautiful leaves on the ground.
The week ended with Physical Education, where learners took their first Fitness Test. They measured their physical abilities with things like sit-ups, push-ups, running, and jumping. Then they made goals of how they would like to improve a few months from now. The Falcons encouraged each other to do their best and were excited to see what they could do.
