Discovery: Session 6, Week 6

Just another week in Acton Academy of Bergen County. The birds were chirping, learners were frantically preparing for the exhibition, and a few learners said their goodbyes to each other for the last time. The Falcons finished up their collages of the year and made personalized memory books, where they got their friends to share the best memories of each other for the year.

Since this was the last exhibition of the year, and for some, the last exhibition they will be a part of for Discovery Studio, The learners made it a point to ensure every part of it would be the best! It was an emotional day, and the learners did a great job managing when the speeches should be spoken and when the entertainment should be shown. Everything was executed well with lots of smiles, laughter, and even tears.

The year ended with some kind words that learners shared with each other and lots of fun with the whole school. The learners went to the park and created different physical competitions: Guides vs. Guides, Journey vs. Guides, Journey vs. Discovery, and Discovery vs. Sparks. There was a tug of war, races, and more. It was a great way to end a fantastic year :).
