This week in Discovery, learners had the opportunity to work on projects needing completion during Writer’s Workshop. Some finished writing about fun animals in Night Zookeeper, while others completed art projects or continued with Core Skills. In Special, learners finished their memory books with front and back covers. These books will be a great way to hold onto special memories for years to come!
The Growing Curiosity Quest came to a close with Eitan and Sasha leading a rocket project. Learners poured water into a canister, dropped in an alka seltzer, and put on the lid before it blasted off! Everyone had lots of fun exploring this reaction.
Discovery ended the year with the Session 6 Exhibition and 360 Feedback, which is an opportunity for learners to share their thoughts on several aspects of life at AABC. At the Exhibition, everyone enjoyed sharing their hard work! A video reflecting on the year was shown at the End of Year Ceremony, where three learners graduated to Journey. After such a great Session, Discovery certainly earned a fun free Friday!
