This wee,k the learners had so much fun when Ray and Michal came to the studio for a launch and a volcano activity.T

Ray’s morning launch was communication and the qualities of a good friendship. Michal and the Falcons made a volcano eruption together, using vinegar, baking soda, and dish soap!

Check the weekly pictures folder to see some exciting videos.

Conundrum became the learner’s favorite activity. We can see how they process the different scenarios and persuade each other. This week’s conundrum was about leadership. Who do you think should be the spaceship’s leader?

Kind Word Wednesday was Fearless. We introduced Black History Month and discussed how it takes fearless people to come together to fight for what’s right.

For our Heros Journey’s launch, we watched a video about Ruby Bridges. The learners were inspired to know she changed the world when she was their age.

The learners learned about osmosis during quest time and observed gummy bears in saltwater vs. regular water. We also created rain clouds with shaving cream and food coloring.

The learners have enjoyed their experiments this session and are very excited to present them during our exhibition.
