Dear Sparks Tribe Families,

This week was full of creativity, collaboration, and self-discovery as the Sparks Tribe wrapped up another exciting session!

Math Monday kicked off with a poetic twist as Sparks heard Shel Silverstein’s “One Inch Tall”. They imagined life at one inch tall and dove into a lively debate: would they rather be one inch tall or 100 feet tall? The afternoon brought Engineering Quest, where Sparks designed their own LEGO cities complete with homes, hospitals, and schools—a chance to bring their architectural visions to life!

Thinkering Tuesday invited Sparks to reflect inward as they watched Mr. Rogers’ video “What to Do with Your Mad?” The message provided fresh ideas for managing big feelings, sparking meaningful conversations. In the afternoon, Sparks completed their picture books and shared their heartfelt stories with one another, celebrating their creativity and storytelling skills.

Engineering Wednesday began with a sensory challenge during morning launch. Sparks reached into mystery boxes, guessing what material they were touching—a fun, hands-on way to jumpstart the day. The afternoon brought the final touches to their LEGO cities, turning their creative plans into vibrant communities.

Fitness Friday tested communication and trust as Sparks partnered up for a blindfolded challenge. One partner guided the other through a studio filled with "lava spots," relying on clear instructions and trust to navigate safely. This activity was a powerful way to close the week, highlighting teamwork and connection.

As this session comes to a close, we’re grateful for all the growth, laughter, and discoveries shared in the Sparks Tribe. We can’t wait to see what adventures Session 4 holds for us!
