This week the learners started learning about how to do a back stitch. They started with tracing simple shapes.
For the Quest the learners this week, got an understanding of how the lifecycle of a butterfly happens. We explored why the milkweed is liked so much by the monarchs and also the other bugs also feel safe in the milkweed. We also have caterpillars which recently have cocooned and we are watching them grow. We can’t wait to see when they will turn into butterflies! We were all so engrossed that we forgot to take pictures during the Quest time!
We had more indoor days this week, and got the opportunity to do some team building activities and brainstorm ways of how we can work together. There were of course some struggles and disagreements, but we all learned to work through them.
On Friday, the learners looked forward to visiting the Memorial field and we enjoyed the cool weather!
