As we wrap up Week 4 of Session 5, we take a moment to reflect on the growth, collaboration, and creativity that filled our studio this week.

Fitness Monday kicked off with energy and purpose as Sparks pushed through a challenging core-focused workout. The determination and focus in the studio were inspiring and seamlessly carried over into Core Skills time. In the afternoon, Sparks switched gears to prepare for the upcoming Children's Business Fair, channeling their creativity into designing custom flyers to spread the word about their unique businesses.

On Community Tuesday, Sparks engaged in a thoughtful and respectful debate about whether maintaining a community garden was something they were ready for. While the idea was met with interest, they ultimately agreed that the Business Fair is their current priority and a garden might be a great project for a future session.

Entrepreneurship Wednesday focused on leadership. After watching a short video on the different ways people lead, Sparks shared how they each prefer to be guided. Though their answers varied, one thing was clear—everyone values leadership rooted in kindness.

Hero’s Visit Thursday brought us a special guest, Tula, a market research specialist. Sparks were intrigued by her insights into consumer behavior, especially the concept of trends and how our preferences can shift over time. It was an engaging and eye-opening conversation that helped deepen their understanding of business and marketing.

We closed the week with Read Aloud Friday, where Sparks listened to Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend. The story sparked meaningful discussion about friendship, imagination, and the search for belonging. Sparks reflected on both the book’s themes and their own personal experiences, creating a beautiful moment of connection.

With the Children’s Business Fair just around the corner, Sparks are dedicating more and more time each day to refining their ideas and bringing their businesses to life.

We look forward to the next two weeks of preparation and adventure—have a great weekend!
