Hello, parents of the Journey Studio! This week, the Studio made batteries in Quest, explored perspective and verb tenses in Genre, and enjoyed a super fun visit from another Journey studio! Hello parents of the Journey Studio! This is the first week of Session 2. For Session 2, our Genre is Flash Science Fiction, and our Quest is Space X Chemistry and Rockets. Field Trip, Quest Conversations, and Exhibition Highlights (Session 1, Week 7)
Field Trip! - This week, Journey Learners finished the Intentionality Game. In the game, after each working period, a learner rates themself on how focused they were, and at the end of the day, if their total score is above 8.5, they receive a star. At the end of Week 6, these stars were counted, and the learners with 16 or more total stars went on a field trip to the Arte Museum in NYC. The Arte Museum is an immersive experience with screens, smells, mirrors, and even fog.


Conversations, Heroes, and History in Action (Session 1, Week 6)
Quest! This week, we finished and reflected on the conversation we had with a friend or family member outside of the Studio. We also started preparing topics for the Exhibition and learned how to avoid arguments in conversations, as the goal of any conversation is not to take part in an argument.
