Discovery’s First Exhibition, Field Trip, and a Memorable End to Session One (Session 1, Week 7)

Discovery Studio Prepares for Session One Exhibition with Exciting Projects and New Hosts (Session 1, Week 6)

Discovery Learners Harvest, Create, and Celebrate in Preparation for Exhibition (Session 1, week 5)
Discovery Salad! At the beginning of the session, every discovery learner planted a plant in the lettuce grow system (Lettuce and other plants). And on Wednesday the learners harvested the plants in a way that would let them regrow and put them together with store bought ingredients (Croutons, Seasonings, Cherry tomatoes, Carrots, and cucumbers). Lip Dub Success, Writer’s Workshop Completion & Official Contract (Session 1, Week 4)

Community Garden Quest, Hero Boards, and Studio Jobs (Session 1, Week 3)
Hello Discovery Families, What a week it has been for the Discovery Falcons! From starting their first quest of the year, to introducing and applying for jobs, this week was nothing short of exciting for the learners. The Community Garden Quest kicked off this week! The Falcons were broken up into groups and tasked with experimenting with different methods of scarification on a pinto bean to see which method would speed up the germination process. Greetings Discovery Families, This week was jam packed for the Discovery Falcons! They embarked upon the journey of figuring out their studio contract and writing the tenants they will use to hold each other accountable.
